An experimental Dark Art and Horror Realism study created on synthetic practice skin using Black & Grey tattoo techniques.

The composition presents a surreal, distorted human face, where anatomical structures merge with organic growths, fragmented forms and grotesque details.

The main objective of this piece was to explore complex tonal transitions, deep shadow construction and the rendering of multiple organic textures. The layered design challenges the balance between fine detail, visual clarity and three-dimensional depth.

Dark contrasting areas, intricate textures and a combination of soft and sharp shading create an unsettling, atmospheric visual experience.

This artwork represents an exploration of complex realism, experimental anatomy and unconventional artistic expression, documenting an important stage in the development of my Black & Grey tattooing skills.
